Bosse Applauds McCain’s Efforts to Save Social Security

(Hillsboro) Hillsboro Republican Grant Bosse today applauded Senator
John McCain's continuing efforts to save Social Security from
bankruptcy. The New Hampshire Democratic Party is attacking McCain on
the eve of his return to the state, which Bosse says is nothing more
than scare tactics.

"John McCain realizes that Social Security is on the road to bankruptcy,
and the Democratic Party wants us to speed up," Bosse said. "John
McCain should be applauded for his willingness to address the growing
crisis in the Social Security system."

Bosse worked extensively on Social Security reform as a legislative aide
in the U.S. Senate.

"We can preserve Social Security benefits for those at or near
retirement, and allow younger workers to take control of their own
retirement accounts," Bosse concluded. "The Democratic alternative is
to ignore the problem while trying to scare seniors into voting for
them. John McCain knows better."
